No. AI search isn't winner-take-all per city — it's a separate race for each treatment. The clinic an AI names most for Botox is often completely absent from the Morpheus8, CoolSculpting, or lip-filler answers. Even where a big name owns one treatment, the answers for your other treatments are frequently wide open to claim.
It's natural to assume that whichever clinic an AI “wins” in your city wins it across the board — but that's not how it works. When we mapped Dallas–Fort Worth, the clinic the AI named most often for Botox was nowhere in the Morpheus8 or CoolSculpting answers, and lip filler had different local winners again. The AI runs a separate retrieval for “Morpheus8 cost in [city]” than for “Botox cost in [city],” so dominating one treatment doesn't carry to the others.
Why this happens: the AI matches each specific treatment-and-city question to the page that answers it best — usually the one that actually publishes that treatment's price, instead of hiding it behind a “book a consult.” A competitor's strong Botox page does nothing for the Morpheus8 question. And the body and device treatments (Morpheus8, CoolSculpting, laser) tend to be the most fragmented — often there's no clear winner at all, just an open answer waiting for whoever shows up and answers it.
So the move isn't to fight the entrenched name head-on for the treatment they already own. It's to find the treatment answers in your city that are open — frequently the higher-margin device and body treatments — and become the clinic the AI names for those. That's a faster, more winnable path than dethroning a Botox incumbent. Our free AI-visibility audit shows, treatment by treatment, which answers in your city already have a winner and which are still open for you to take.
